Baked Tofu With a Cheesy Garlic Crust

Derived from Kittencal’s "Moist Cheddar-Garlic Oven Fried Chicken Breast", made in an attempt to convince my family that tofu can be just as good as chicken — and it worked! I like to serve it over linguine with a light marinara sauce. IMPORTANT: To prepare tofu to receive the marinade, it must be drained and then pressed (between 2 plates, with a weighted object on top) for 30 minutes, flipping it over and draining the water off the plate halfway through. The more water you can get out of it, the more marinade it’ll soak up and the tastier it’ll be. — posted by Alexander Mar
