I’m Rachel, the creator behind Rachel’s Recipes. Thank you for visiting my website! My goal is to bring you and your family delicious, easy-to-follow recipes that you’ll want to make again and again.
A quick overview about me – I earned my American Culinary Federation chef certification in 2023 after completing an accelerated culinary program at Salt Lake Culinary Education in Utah. I currently live in Central Florida with my husband, Austin, and my dachshund/plott hound mix dog, Sadie.
I decided to start sharing my recipes online after years of cooking for my husband and my family. I love creating new dishes by balancing all five tastes – salty, sweet, sour, bitter, and umami – and I also enjoy developing and perfecting classic recipes, which you’ll find plenty of here. Since it’s usually just my husband and me at home, many of my recipes are designed to serve two people, but feel free to scale them up if you’re cooking for a family or a group!
